The practice of plein air painting is a method of learning directly from Nature by immersing oneself completely into the environment.
To focus so intently that all else dissolves away and a true connection to the place is formed. Through struggle and perseverance of efforts to capture that elusive and fleeting moment in paint the Place continues to inform long after the passage has been expressed. The paintings presented here are the studies dedicated to that practice.
